Le Terre di Isa is a
working farm put back on its feet by Isabella e Massimo who were in search of a healthier and more genuine life style; they decided to exchange Roman city living for traditional Umbrian country ways.
In 2001 restoration work began on the old farmhouse (see black and white photo above). All renovation was carried out using original materials and following the original architecture of this historic construction.

From the very beginning we have always separated our waste, recycled organic refuse to make compost and re-used our water supply using phyto-purification. What’s more, we use solar panels and a photovoltaic system to make the
farmhouse environmentally friendly and reduce energy consumption.
In 2002 organic olive groves, a vegetable garden and orchards were planted and today their produce is used to make healthy, natural products such as organic extra virgin olive oil, jams, preserves, aromatic herbs and vegetables which today make up the main produce of Le Terre di Isa.
Friends and relatives all get involved in work on the farm leaving their own personal touches in every corner.
The idea of welcoming guests to our home comes from this experience of sharing our idyllic lifestyle with anyone who wants to join in the pleasure we have gained from living so harmoniously with the surrounding land.
