Forest Bathing

Have you ever thought of being able to hug a tree, stand and contemplate the wild landscape and nature during a walk in the park or in a green area, and be able to reap some psychic benefits?

The Japanese made it a real practice in the 1980s called Shinrin-Yoku which translated means "Shower-bath in the forest." Following the spread of this practice throughout the eastern world first and then in the western one, some scholars have confirmed that the substances that characterize a plant, with the practice of "forest bathing", can have a positive impact on the immune system and on human health.

There are also places in the world, sometimes also connected to medical-health structures, where the practice can be carried out under the guidance of professionals.

But it can be done everywhere, wherever there is a wood, a forest, a park, a garden.

Here at Le Terre di Isa, for example, if you are curious to try it, it is possible to take a bath in the woods surrounding the property and regenerate not only the body but also the mind.

You will have the opportunity to combine an overnight stay with an experience of total immersion in nature with guided tours of breathing and relaxation techniques.

From March to September we will offer you days dedicated to the theme of well-being, experimenting with practices such as forest bathing. We will keep you updated on all the proposals in our website page Offer and Packages.
